SARA´S BED & BOX
With almost no budget at all, we were to create a small guest apartment at Sara's stable. Guest should be able to rent a box for their horse and a place to stay for themselves. We chose to call it "Sara's Bed&Box.

With minimal budget, we were to create a "Bed & Box"—a package where customers could rent a temporary box for their horse and a guest apartment for themselves.

CONTEXT/PRECONDITIONS:
In this tiny apartment and with almost no budget, we aim to achieve:

Warm colors that create a cozy, inviting atmosphere

Materials that are clean and resistant to dirt from the stable

Four sleeping spots for guests (so we had to keep the two not so nice looking fold-out chairs)

A small kitchenette for breakfast and pre-party preparations

Space for luggage

A clothes rack for party outfits

A subtle amount of horse-themed décor

Instagram-friendly design elements

A functional bathroom for getting ready

Space for extra linens and towels

A clear boundary between the stable and apartment, with a designated area for hanging dirty riding clothes outside

THE RESULT
With minimal budget, we were to create a "Bed & Box"—a package where customers could rent a temporary box for their horse and a guest apartment for themselves.
Since most of her clients are women and the stable is located near the fancy district of Östermalm, we decided to design a warm, feminine, and somewhat glamorous space, ideal for friends to enjoy a night out together (including four beds for sleep over).
It was also important to create a distinct contrast between the rugged, dusty environment of the stable and the apartment, despite the fact they were just one door apart.
The goal was to create a cozy retreat for relaxation, a place to hang out with friends before dressing up and heading out in the party night.
